A friend needs our help

Something has happened in our family recently - it's the biggest thing on our minds now, and I wanted to share it with you.

My daughter is a single mom with four children.They came home a few days ago to find their home engulfed in flames.

Although their two little dogs were killed in the fire, and they are heartbroken about that, they themselves are all safe.

There are no words to express how grateful we are they're all right. And they really are.

They've lost everything, and every few days the children remember another favorite toy that's gone, or - today - part of a Halloween costume they must replace.

But they are surrounded by friends and family, and they are okay.
