I Am Alive and Well

I spent Friday in the recording studio reading my forthcoming book "Buying Trances". I came home exhausted but eager to review my email and work on a new project or two.

But my computer refused to let me in.

It didn't recognize me.

I took it as a sign to take the day off.

But the computer won't work today either.

My tech genius came out and declared Windows corrupted my user identity. It will need major surgery to fix. He left with my baby. I'm typing this on my Blackberry.

What's happening here?

Last weekend's Zero Limits event turned me inside out. I've been processing it all week. Apparently I still am.

Even my computer doesn't recognize the new me.

Hello Joe, I hope you are in the mood to read my comment. You say you have troubles with your pc. I think I understand how frustrating that can feel. If you are not frustrated, it must be because you have developed a lot of controll over yourself.

Anyway, I want to let you know of this marketing strategy of mine where I offer rebates.

Please tell me what you think of the way I offered the rebate on my blog: http://keywordelitrebate.blogspot.com

I think it was cool. I am actually impressed but I do not have your kind of reputation. So if you can view the page and leave your own comment, I will appreciate the assesment that that will afford me.

Thanks

oh noes! I am convinced that machines have personalities all of their very own... I often tell my computer if it doesn't behave I will turn it into art.

This is what I do with dead computer bits! Maybe if you explain to your computer that it too might end up on cnavas smoe place it will want to behave itself a bit better! It works for me.

failing that a nice hot cup of tea works wonders!

cheers!

Getting a mac won't solve the key problem. Even my main site at www.mrfire.com went down this morning. I can't reach anyone to fix it. my mrfire site is my bread and butter. I've had it over 15 years. Yet my pc, my laptop, and now it is off line.
send love

Hello Dr. Joe!

I totally relate to computer woes after the event. I got a virus on my pc at the office and it is still down, had to use my laptop to finish work. THEN got a cold which has turned into full blown flu today. The blessing is...my kitchen sink backed up and and if those two things above had not happened, my downstairs neighbor would be very upset with me right now because I would be working. Instead, I was here to bail and wait for the plumber. Yes...send love....

I too am still processing what happened at Zero Limits. I have not lost my cool and I am just cleaning, cleaning. Perhaps I too needed a rest. I know I needed to call the plumber.

Clean, clean, erase, erase....

I love you.

Amazingly I am not upset AT ALL about my pc and even web sites dying. I'm more curious. So I just allow it to be. As a result, www.mrfire.com is back online.

Dear Joe,

I love how we think there's a problem when there isn't one. Computer doesn't recognize you? Why would it? Nothing in the material world stays the same. I like to ask myself, "How is this 'problem' actually for my highest good?" (It always is; it cannot be otherwise.) Maybe, as you suggest, you're no longer "Mr. Fire," even though the whole world will tell you that you are (and that doesn't mean you can't continue to call yourself that). Maybe I am not Carol Skolnick. In fact I know I am not that mental construct I call a "me," and that's good!

And great that you're back online; as it should be...we seem to need you.

Warm regards,
Carol

Dear Joe!
I'm almost shure computers are as sensitive as humans. If it is possible for people to make lightbulbs explode i think it is possible that we influence computers.
We experienced computer issues when peolpe with a strong " emotional charge " were in our studio.
Last summer, an important customer did a block booking of our studio. A few days before his arrival, our audio mac went bananas. I checked the harddrives, even swapped one. I pulled in an expert, after even my best comuter friend was clueless. The expert had no solution, too. I ebay-ed me a new(s.h.) mac. Still the same problem. Not much sleep in those days. I managed to get a system working for the Job. Everything went fine. After that, I spent another 14 days tracing the error as it had come back. I finally succeeded: One old harddrive had problems. I replaced it with a factory new one. Who could know that it was faulty as well.
All in all, I don't believe all that was accidental.
I'm shure it was meant for me, teaching me how to stay relaxed and watch my fears.

Take care;

Peter & Elizabeth aka Blue Star

P.S Today, the UPS man delivered the first copies of our new CD "Feels So Goog" They look absolutely beautiful!

Dr. Joe

I just wanted to let you know that in a matter of 3 days after listening to "The Attractor Factor" on my ipod my life has drastically changed for the Better.

Its funny because intention is POWERFUL.

The short story is that I've been working as a contract consultant for 6-7 years making six figures. I wasn't happy and so during major lows --I would work on a business (admittingly one that I should have given my complete attention from its inception.)

Well I bought your book on ipod on Monday night (1/29/07). Yesterday morning I got word (after writing my intention which never included this contract or my associated professon) that EVERY SINGLE CONSULTANT WOULD BE GONE BY TODAY. Two days notice....LOL...

But I'm not in a panic like I would have been a year ago or even a month ago. I manifested this "loss". And intention is powerful and SPEEDY.

After writing my intention in several different ways and at your suggestion I got a call from a client whom I had written an email to. I expected a response last week and kind of wrote her off. But she called an hour after writing my intention.

As I type this from my cube (one in which will be premenantly empty in 6 hours) I thank you.

I was what they called a "backseat manifestor". I watched "The Secret" and was able to sell an "unsellable" investment property, make 20k in a month. But nothing where the stakes are as high as "losing" everything that has been tied to my identity.

I got another call today from a woman I called on faith a few hours ago about a collaborative effort with my company, www.errandsinthecity.com. And she wants me to meet to see if I could be the Northern arm of her company.

Joe,

Computers, like many tools, we use, are only as good as people that use them.

In the "The Secret", yourself and many of the wise co-presenters, as well as based on my experience... computers et al, are another reflection of what we put out.

Theorising for a second, what if all those gadgets were meant to temporarily terminate, except for the Blackberry, so that your body could focus on it's challenges with your previous appendix?

Get the appendix out, Joe has his Blackberry, but isn't stressed about all the other gadgets cos they aint workin, while your body heals.

Farfetched? Perhaps, I have many other theories all with positive outcomes, relating to your appendix and reality.

Kudos again, on your part in the "Secret". Everyone deserves this movie.

Peace,
-Mikel
