Larry King and The Wrong Question
The studio audience asked questions of me and the other panelists when we taped the Larry King show the other day at the CNN offices in LA.
I noticed a fundamental flaw in many of the questions.
People asked how they could get their dream home while on a fixed salary, or how to deal with the negative people in their life while they went for their dreams, etc.
While Jack Canfield, James Ray, George Pratt, a woman guest who I can't recall the name of (I'm sorry), and myself answered these questions, they were all based in error.
Each question was assuming the person's current reality was a fixed state.
The point of the movie The Secret and my book The Attractor Factor is that you can redirect your life and transform your current reality by first focusing on what you want, without much regard to your current situation.
Jack Canfield pointed out that he went from a teacher's salary of $8,000 a year to $6,000,000 a year as a bestselling author by ignoring the teacher's salary and focusing on his intention. His intention brought new ideas to him, while still a teacher, which led him on the path to being a multi-millionaire today.
Larry King asked an excellent question.
He wondered if having a coach was important.
I leaped in and explained that you need someone to reflect back to you your own beliefs. Since they are your beliefs, it's tough to see them. An objective coach can help you realize where your patterns are.
Jack Canfield did this for me after the TV show, at dinner.
I told him about my Beyond Manifestation seminar and how I limited it to 25 people. He urged me to think even bigger, and suggested I lead the spiritual retreats for hundreds of people. I didn't realize I had a limiting belief about it until someone outside of me, being a good coach, helped me see it.
I can't wait for the Larry King show to air. I'm told it may be in two weeks or so. As soon as I know, I'll tell you.
Meanwhile, appeciate your current reality for being your current reality but don't be limited by it.
State what you want your reality to be.
Then act on the impulses you get to help manifest it.
Expect miracles.

PS - I told Larry King -- right on his show -- about Francine. I'm sure he never heard of a Panoz before, but the world will soon know I own a 2005 Panoz Esperante GTLM. I didn't plan on mentioning the exotic car on the Larry King show, for the world to hear, but that's the kind of hold Francine has on me. She's always demanding attention. She's always ordering me around. What a woman. She's beautiful and she knows it. Now Larry King knows it, too. Have I shown you a picture of her yet?
PPS - Reminder: If you want to know The Secret of Money, plan on attending this one day event with me and Mindy Audlin next Saturday here in Wimberley, Texas. See www.unityathome.org/events.htm Note: Francine will be there. She'd love to meet you.

Hey Joe...
I took a few courses back in the late '70 with a Dr. Ernest Holmes...it was called Science of Mind ( 1 & 2 ) and your post reminded a little of some to the things that I learned over 30 years ago...I raise my cup to you and the good old days...

Hi Joe,
It was great to see you in person that day (yeah, I was the one that asked about the negative people in your life and how to deal with them)I wanted to have more time to talk to you but you know how that went. Maybe another time ;-)
The other pannelist's name was Jayne Payne.
I got a few pictures too(at least I got to stand next to you and Larry)and wanted to post one but not sure how...Let me know if you want me to e-mail it to you or something.
I'll be watching!
YES! Email those pictures to joe@mrfire.com
And if you look at my more recent blog posts, you'll see that I have all the panelists listed, as well as their websites. Thank you.
Blessings,
joe
