Welcome to the Dr. Joe Vitale Quiz Show! or, Let Me PROVE I Can Make You a Better Marketer!

Decades ago I gave a talk on marketing for PBS television in Houston. It was recorded in their TV studio, complete with a studio audience, and later sold.

That very video has changed many lives, including that of Internet guru Mark Joyner, who said the presentation was the first to teach him about direct marketing.

One of the most popular aspects of my talk was a quiz show. I showed two different ads for the same product and asked people to vote on which ad pulled best. It was a big hit.

I jokingly said I was going to turn that quiz into a weekly game show. I never did (not yet), but someone just released something like it online.

Go to this cool site and take the quiz:

I think games and quizzes are proven ways to teach concepts and install change in people. This new site does both, right online, and is an educational and fun learning experience.

Check it out.

How to Speed Up a Rolex

I got a round of appplause last weekend when I told everyone at Pat O'Bryan's Un-Seminar II that I bought a Rolex.

That confused me.

Why did they applaud?

Later, at lunch, I asked the folks at my table why they applauded my buying a Rolex watch.

"Because you proved you are still stretching yourself," one person said.

"Because you were once homeless and in poverty and you are showing us we all can change," said another.

I was impressed. Still am. I had no idea my investing in a Rolex would become an inspirational learning experience to everyone else around me.

Had I known that, I might have bought two.

Ao Akua,

PS - The official Rolex website is at I just learned that my Rolex will come from Switzerland in about three months -- in time for either Christmas or my birthday (December 29) -- or to start 2007 on the right foot. As Rocky Balboa once said, if you want to have a good time, you need a good watch.

PPS - If you want to know how to speed up manifesting things -- so you, too, can order a new Rolex -- you might want to look into the package that reveals a "lazy way" to get whatever you want. Go see

PPPS - If you want to hear Pat O'Bryan and me play some blues music -- me on harmonica and him on guitar while a rainbow forms above us and people cheer us on -- you can now see a short bootleg video of us from this past weekend's Un-Seminar II. This sweaty blues-rock rare performance of "Crossroads" will leave you smiling. I think the song is a metaphor for our lives. See It rocks!

Karmic Marketing, or, Why Desperate Housewives and Desperate Marketers are Never Happy

I've been mentioning Karmic Marketing for a decade or more. It's high time that I explain what it means.

Here's a quick definition:

Karmic Marketing is giving now knowing that in some way, shape or form you will be getting later.

Here's how it works:

You're rewarded instantly when you give because of the good feelings you get. Those feelings act like magnetizers that will attract more good feelings.

You're rewarded later because of the invisible law that says you will get from giving.

I looked at this topic in my books, The Greatest Money-Making Secret of All Time and Life's Missing Instruction Manual, but I didn't look at it from a Karmic Marketing perspective.

So let me give you an example or two:

This weekend, at Pat O'Bryan's Un-Seminar II, I gave everyone a copy of the DVD of the movie The Secret.

I bought the DVD's out of my own pocket. I didn't ask any money for them. I didn't expect any money for them. I gave from my sincere desire to share.

Later that same night I received an email from Rhonda, the producer of The Secret. She said she was sending me, as a gift, a box of 50 DVD's of the movie.

That's almost twice as many DVD's as I gave out.

That's Karmic Marketing.

At one point during Pat's event, I magically turned a roll of life savers into a hundred dollar bill, and then gave the money to an astonished woman in the audience.

I didn't ask for anything in return.

Two days later, that same woman asked me a question in front of everyone that let me plug my next Beyond Manifestation weekend.

That plug led to my making two thousand dollars in one minute.

That's Karmic Marketing.

The idea is to give freely, from your heart, wanting to share and wanting to help, and not expecting anything in return at all from the people you are doing it for.

You simply trust that your good deed will come back to you tenfold, in time, in some surprising and wonderful ways.

I practice Karmic Marketing here on the Internet by giving people things that I believe they will love, such as an ebook, or a course, or an audio, or a coupon.

On one level it strengthens our relationship.

But on the unseen level, it starts a spiritual circulation.

My giving now -- done from my heart, with no expectation from the people I am doing it for -- leads to getting later.

Karmic Marketing is not done much because too many people are into survival. They are afraid to let go. To trust. They are desperate and they stay desperate because of this lack of trust in life. But once you let go and trust, you step into a flow that is prosperity itself.

This very blog is Karmic Marketing at work.

I write posts here about whatever I want, doing my best to entertain, educate, inspire and inform. No one pays me for this. I could make more money writing a sales letter or a book or a website. But here I am, writing for you.

What comes to me as a result of doing this?

Increased business.

Increased sales.

Increased fans.

Sometimes an Amazon gift certificate.

But I'm not doing it for the end result.

I'm doing it because I want to.

Because I love to.

Because I love you.

Ao Akua

PS -- I enjoy the TV show Desperate Housewives, mostly because I love watching Teri Hatcher. (Don't tell Lindsay Lohan.) But Desperate Housewives, like Desperate Marketers, are never satisfied. There's a reason why so many of the episodes revolve around murder and deception. Desperation leads to more desperation. It's The Attractor Factor at work. A better choice would be Karmic Marketing. Give from love. Receive in love.

PPS - This just in: See some cool pictures from Pat O'Bryan's Un-Seminar II over at It was a wonderful time with wonderful people. Thank you, Pat, and everyone who attended. Talk about love. It was in the air.

PPPS - I don't have all the details on my appearance on Larry King. I'll fly out to LA on Oct. 12 for the taping. Jack Canfield will be on the show, too. Larry King may do a two-parter with John Assaraf on another segment. The show is about how to change your life by changing your mind. I'll let you know as I learn more.

Blowing My Brains Out

Pat O'Bryan's un-seminar was a smash hit.

Whether it was Bill Hibbler talking about master minds, or Craig Perrine talking about the inner game of success, or me putting everyone into a group trance with a few stories in order to teach them Hypnotic Copywriting ... the entire weekend was off the charts wonderful.

One of my favorite moments was blowing my brains out playing the harmonica with Pat on the guitar, while the Austin sky turned colors and lit up with a thunder storm percolating off in the distance. A small crowd watched us and cheered us on. A rainbow showed up, too.

I liked the jam session so much that I told Pat we need to record a CD. Being the smart opportunist that he is, he instantly agreed. But we'll record something with a "twist". (Don't ask. I'm not telling -- yet.)

I think some of our fiery music session was caught on video. We'll release it some day.

A lot of photos were taken. One is above.

Pat's entire un-seminar event was recorded, so be looking for it soon.

It rocked.

Ao Akua,

How to Turn a Lifesaver Roll into One Hundred Dollars

I'm at Pat O'Bryan's unseminar. Right now Craig Perrine is speaking. He's a great speaker but I've heard him before so I'm typing this in the back of the room on my Blackberry.

Earlier I told the group about the mindset for success. I mentioned the movie The Secret and my book The Attractor Factor.

I then showed them a roll of Lifesaver candy. I pointed out it was once a thought. Now it's a product.

I dropped the roll into a brass tube. I said the tube was an Intention Accelerator. I asked the group what would be better than candy. Most people said money.

Money became the new intention.

I asked a woman to come up front with me. I let her see the transformation. I opened the tube which contained the roll of lifesavers. Her eyes grew wide as she watched me pull a one hundred dollar bill out of the cannister. I then gave her the money.

Intention is powerful. It changes current reality into a new reality.

What's your intention?

Ao Akua

PS - Almost everyone here has seen the movie The Secret. I gave everyone a copy of the DVD so soon they will all see it. Magic lives. Got magic?

What's the most magical way to use your money?

I'm getting ready to speak at Pat O'Bryan's famous un-seminar this weekend but before I head out the door I wanted to tell you about a magical way to spend your money that makes you feel better than anything, maybe even sex.

As you know by now, I believe in giving money away. It's a great way to practice Karmic Marketing, implement the law of tenfold return, make a difference in the world, and open yourself to receiving prosperity, as well.

While I may spend money on myself, Nerissa, loved ones and friends, there's nothing like the feeling of freely giving it to someone you don't know who touches your heart.

I was reminded of this yesterday.

I got an email about the progress of Kirk, a lovable little boy who suffered a stroke shortly after birth.

I didn't know that babies can suffer strokes. It wasn't until my friend Kevin Hogan told me about Kirk that I learned this is a problem few people address, and costs a lot of money to attempt to heal.

As a result, Kevin started a fund to help this little boy, Kirk. When Kevin asked me to donate, I was resistant. I had just sent money to my sister, and spent a lot on bills and such, and was feeling like I had done my share.

But I couldn't shake the feeling that little Kirk needed my help. So a little while later, on the same day, I shook off my scarcity fears and wrote Kevin back, saying I would help. I donated a large amount and trusted it would be put to good use.

It was.

Kirk was able to get his first operation and is already doing better. You can get a sense of him, and learn about him, at Amazing Kirk.

The point I want to share with you is that giving money to help Kirk made me feel better than anything else I've done in a long, long time.

Even better than ordering my BMW 645ci.

Even better than ordering my Rolex.

When I learned about Kirk's progress yesterday, I smiled. Then beamed. The good feelings I experienced are still with me. And it's these very good feelings that will go out into the world and attract more wealth to me. And when it does, I will again spread the good cheer.

I strongly suggest that you practice this "profitable philanthropy," as P. T. Barnum called it, who himself gave lots of money to many causes and experienced great wealth.

Give and grow rich.

Ao Akua,

PS -- Kevin Hogan just sent me an email, saying, "Check out Kirk's smile on that front page (; he couldn't do that 18 months ago...." This feels sooooo good.

The Three Ways to Get Power

In one of the many private conversations I had in Maui with direct marketing legend Joe Sugarman, we discussed the idea of power.

According to Joe, there are three ways to get it:

1. Wealth.

2. Oratory Skills.

3. Fame.

Joe went on to tell me he thought I had two out of three, and was about to get the third.

For the longest time I wasn't sure what he meant.

What were the two ways that I already had?

As I roamed around Maui, with and without Joe, almost everywhere I went, I was recognized. Apparently the movie The Secret is being shown on a regular basis in Hawaii. And apparently it is turning me into a minor celebrity, at least in spiritual circles.

Joe noticed this growing fame. He once joked, "I can't take you anywhere."

He also noted that my speaking skills were strong. Had I stayed in Maui longer, he was going to put me on a television show where I would interview the current mayor.

I'm sharing all of this with you as food for thought. If you want to influence people, you may need power. If Joe is right, and I believe he is, you need to go after one, two, or even all three of the ways to power: wealth, oratory skills, fame.

Ao Akua,

PS - A Maui photographer asked if he could photograph me. He wanted me to wear sunglasses in the shot. Joe gave me a pair of one of his new BluBlocker® Magnum sunglasses. I love them. They have a magnet in the center of them, right in the nose guard, that holds them together. When you want to take them off, you simply grab and pull. Way cool. Check out the new Magnum and all of Joe's famous sunglasses at Also note that the woman modelling the glasses is Joe's wife. I'd say Joe has some power of his own.

PPS - News Flash: P.T. Barnum was right, according to this news story: It's about Barnum's mummy being verified as real. Remember, I wrote the only book on Barnum's business secrets, in There's A Customer Born Every Minute. If you read it, he'll bless you in mysterious ways. After all, Barnum was so powerful that his reach stretches from across his grave.

A Stress Erasing Marketing Lesson

On the all night flight back from Maui -- when I couldn't sleep because I was so depressed to leave that heavenly island -- I used my time to read several books and several magazines.

In the recent issue of Fortune magazine (the September 18th one with Bill Clinton on the cover), there is an ad for a new product I found fascinating.

I'm a gadget guy and a lover of anything to do with health and healing. So you shouldn't be too surprised that I got excited about a little gadget advertised in the magazine called a Stresseraser.

While I found the picture of the gadget to be curious, I wasn't persuaded by the copy. It sounded like the copywriter was inventing a solution in order to get me to buy the product. It simply wasn't convincing.

I wanted to buy the Stresseraser device. But talk about "ergotropic tuning" was making alarms go off in my head. I simply couldn't believe them. There wasn't enough evidence to persuade me to buy now.

The one redeeming fact on the Fortune ad was the fact that Good Morning America featured the gadget. But even then, I didn't know if the TV show liked the gadget or not. All the ad said was that Good Morning America featured it.

But that sole fact made me curious enough to go online, once I got home, and check out the product.

The site is quick, brief, and to the point. I liked what I saw -- though I still didn't swallow the argument about ergotropic tuning -- and I placed my order.

And that's when I found out the product is back ordered until October 15.

My stress level immediately went up.

I wanted the Stresseraser right now.

After all, I just got off a long flight and was facing two weeks of piled up work and numerous things to do at home. I needed the Stresseraser.

Alas. I'll have to wait.

But then I received a catalog in the mail from Sounds True. And there it was, featured on the back page as well as inside the catalog: the Stresseraser.

And it's ready for shipping right now.

In fact, the Sounds True online review for the Stresseraser is far better than the Fortune magazine ad. See it at

Finally, here are a few take away lessons:

1. Your audience is skeptical. Give them the facts. All of them.

2. Your audience is still skeptical, even after all the facts. So give them endorsements. The more, the better. The more respected, the better.

3. Your audience is impatient. Have your product ready for shipping today. Now. Instantly.

I'm going to go practice deep, s-l-o-w breathing now.

Oh, yea. And I still have to unpack.

Ao Akua,

PS - I haven't received the Stresseraser yet, so can't comment on it. I have high hopes for it, though. After all, who doesn't want to erase stress?

Everything You See Is Yours (including the following spiritual punchline)

In Maui, a realtor drove us around to look at houses. Along the way, we did a lot of talking about healing, spirituality, the movie The Secret, and personal growth. It was all interesting, but something enlightening took place on one segment of our drive.

The realtor had read my now famous article on Dr. Len and the ho' oponopono Hawaiian healing process he used to heal an entire ward of mentally ill criminals. (The article is the most recent one posted at

Like everyone else, the realtor found the article inspiring.

Like everyone else, he didn't quite understand it.

As we drove around the beautiful island of Maui, I listened to the realtor complain about a house he couldn't sell. The buyer and seller were fighting over it, causing a lot of anger, resentment, and more. Plus the sale was caught up in their bickering, and wasn't going to close any time soon. The realtor was obviously frustrated by their actions.

I listened for a while and then felt inspired to speak up.

"Would you like to know how Dr. Len might handle this situation using ho'oponopono?" I asked.

"Yes!" the realtor exclaimed, obviously curious. "I'm definitely interested. Tell me."

"This ought to be good," Nerissa said.

"Well, I'm not Dr. Len," I began, "but I am writing a book with him and I've trained with him. So I think I know how he might handle this."

"Tell me!"

"What Dr. Len does is look within himself to see what is within him that is sharing the experience he sees on the outside," I began. "When he worked at that mental hospital, he looked at the patient's charts. Whether he felt repulsion at their acts or something else, he didn't deal with the person, he dealt with the feelings he experienced. As he cleared what was within him, they began to get clear and heal."

"I like this," the realtor said.

"Most people have no idea what responsibility means," I continued. "They are into blame. As they grow and become more aware, they begin to consider that they are responsible for what they say and do. Beyond that, as you become even more aware, you can begin to realize that you are responsible for what everyone says or does, simply because they are in your experience. If you create your own reality, then you created all you see, even the parts you don't like."

The realtor was smiling, nodding his head.

I kept talking.

"It doesn't matter what the buyer or seller does in this situation," I said. "It matters what you do. What Dr. Len does is simply repeat 'I love you,' 'I'm sorry,' 'Please forgive me,' and 'Thank you.' He doesn't say it to the people, he says it to the Divine. The idea is to clear the shared energy."

"I'll do this," the realtor said.

"But you don't do it to get something," I went on. "You do it because it's how we clear the shared energy so no one has to experience it again, ever. It's a cleansing, and you never stop doing it."

I paused.

The realtor seemed to get it. His eyes were wide and his smile was big.

"If it comes up in your awareness," I continued, "then it's up for you to clean and heal. Since you brought this situation of the buyer and seller to my attention, then I have to clean on it, too. It's now part of my life experience. If I'm the creator of my experience, then this is something I'm responsible for, too."

I let all of this sink in as we continued our drive to look at other homes in Maui.

A few days later I received an email from the realtor. He said he was continuing to use the Dr. Len process.

That's how it works.

It's all love.

It's continuous.

And you're totally responsible.

Finally, consider this spiritual punchline:

Since the story of the buyer-seller disagreement is now part of your experience, that means it is up for you to heal, as well.

After all, if you create your own reality, then you had to create this situation, too, as it is now part of your reality.

I suggest you use the "I love you" statements to heal this. To help you, the picture above is to the house being held up in the sales process. It's beautiful. We've seen it and been in it. You'll note the door is open for you to enter into it.

Why not walk through, spread love, and make yourself at home?

I love you.

Thank you.

Meet the Inspiring Woman Behind "The Secret"

Rhonda Bryne is the beautiful lady behind the hit movie The Secret.

That's her with me, in one of Joe Sugarman's homes in Maui, after a recent dinner.

I can't say enough good things about Rhonda. She had a devastating experience, as mentioned in the movie, and then discovered the secret that turned her life around. Now she wants to tell the world.

She used that very secret to create the movie, when all she had was an inspiration and great enthusiasm.

I and many other authors and speakers -- from Jack Canfield, Mike Dooley, John Assaraf, Bill Harris and Bob Proctor - took a chance on her idea. We're all glad we did. Each of us has become a celebrity in spiritual circles as a result of being in The Secret. (Joe Sugarman says he can't take me anywhere in Maui without someone recognizing me.)

Rhonda's not a shooting star, however.

You'll soon see a book based on The Secret, an audio program, and much more. You can expect all of it to be bestselling and life changing. Personally, I think the movie and her followup items have the potential to awaken humanity.

I told Rhonda how impressed I am with her marketing skills. The viral marketing behind the movie has made it a classic, and it hasn't even hit theatres or TV networks yet.

Rhonda smiled and told me her marketing advisor is The Universe.

"Keep that relationship," I said. "It's obviously working."

Ao Akua,

PS - The Hawaiian shirt I'm wearing in the picture is a 100% all silk, hand painted, locally made work of art. They're rare. And a tad expensive. I have several of them now. Joe Sugarman saw that new one on me and said, "It's spectacular." If you look close, you can see the energy of the shirt blending into the energy of Rhonda. How is that happening? It's a secret...

Why a Marketing Legend is Mad at Me

We've been staying in a beautiful home on the beach in Maui, Hawaii.

The home belongs to marketing legend and genius copywriter Joe Sugarman, father of the famous Blueblocker sunglasses.

I can finally tell you where we've been staying because tonight Joe gave me permission to do so.

Joe is a wonderful, generous, brilliant, spiritual and dear friend. I'm amazed that I know him at all let alone know him well enough to be allowed to stay in his home here in Maui.

But Joe is a little upset with me.

Joe is famous in marketing circles. Most people know of his breakthough books, such as Triggers. Or they know of his classic infomercials for his Blueblocker sunglasses.

He's also a celebrity here on the island. He published a weekly Maui newspaper for many years, so all the movers and shakers have come to know his name, even though he sold the paper a year ago.

But Joe has seen something unusual during my time here with him.

When we go places, and someone yells out, "Hi, Joe!", they aren't looking at him.

They're looking at me.

Turns out most of Maui has seen the movie The Secret.

Most of those who see it remember my face.

And when I show up someplace with Joe Sugarman, they are attracted to me, not him.

Joe's not upset, of course. He actually prefers being reclusive. He's a humble guy, which is another reason why I love him.

When I try to tell Joe how grateful I am to know him, he simply says, "You attracted me and all these good things yourself."

Ao Akua,

PS - Joe has a new book coming out in late November. You'll want it. Anything by Joe is a masterpiece. Go get his books on amazon. And then memorize them. And if you can find a copy of his now out-of-print earlier book, Success Forces, get it NOW. Joe told me that book could have been easily titled "Karma for Business People."

PPS - Nerissa filmed Joe Sugarman, his wife, and me last night at dinner. Stay tuned for information on this rare footage, which we'll post one day down the road. For now, Maui is calling me back to her...

7 x The Secret

Last night we had an inspiring dinner with Rhonda Byrne, the woman who created the hit movie The Secret

She's hiding to get some rest, just like me. As it turns out, we discovered we were on the same island at the same time. We quickly set up a time to visit.

The evening was magical. Rhonda told me one person watched The Secret 200 times in 2 weeks.

She also said that a recent study proved if you watch the movie just 7 times, that your brain would be transformed. Just seven times and The Secret is part of your life forever.

The evening was rich with insights. Nerissa caught some of them on video, which we'll post later.

If you haven't seen the movie yet, get over to

I Live in a Painting

Last night I stood on a high cliff overlooking the ocean. A waterfall to my left. A full moon above me. I felt tears of happiness to be in that place. I felt like I walked into a painting and became part of it.

Today we walked under the bright sun, visiting shops along the ocean, buying books, clothes, and more. Shop owners were smiles and hearts. Discounts came easily. The moment was beautiful.

Tonight I relaxed in a hot tub while the ocean waves slapped the beach not far from me. I relaxed into the arms of the moment.

Each moment is gone yet remains alive in my mind.

Which is real -- the reality or the memory?

Or - just this?

Ao Akua,

PS - Work is piling up back home. Sometimes it sneaks into my awareness and stresses me. I keep saying, "Be here now." THIS is it. In this moment, all is well. Isn't that true for you, too?

How to Increase Your Prosperity

I took Nerissa's hand today and said, "Let's go increase our prosperity."

We then set off on a wild shopping spree. It was exhilerating to buy things for ourselves and our friends. I even stunned myself by buying something for $12,500.

You read that right.

Twelve thousand, five hundred dollars.

But Ill tell you about that in a minute.

I almost bought a giant hand carved Tiki but it would be like shipping a small car back home.

I loved the feeling of just letting go, enjoying, and spending. It was all based in a solid feeling of unlimited prosperity.

The day made me think that you'd like to know how to increase your prosperity, too.

So, here goes:

There are two ways to increase your prosperity:

1. The first way is to buy something nice for yourself that makes you feel great joy.

You don't want to go into debt or to fall into guilt, but you do want to feel like you are appreciating yourself. If you can buy something for yourself that is a stretch for you, that makes you feel a wee bit uncomfortable while also exciting you, all the better. This helps you increase your ability to deal with more wealth.

2. The second way is to give money away.

I wrote about this in my book, The Greatest Money-Making Secret in History. The idea is to give money to the person or place that has inspired you. One day that might be a waitress or waiter; another day it might be an author or speaker; yet another day it may be a church or other organization. The point is to give with a sense of appreciation.

In both approaches, you are sending a signal to yourself as well as to the universe (whatever the energy of all that is means to you), that you are happy, grateful, and ready for more. There's real magic when you do these steps.

A while back I told you about buying a gold plated lighter for $612. It became a tool for testing one's prosperity IQ.

Well, today I topped it and have increased the Prosperity IQ test.

Today I ordered a Rolex watch.

It will have to be made for me by Rolex in Switzerland. It may take six months. But it will be a wearable work of art.

Clearly this purchase is a prosperity increasing event for me. I was once homeless. I didn't own a watch. Today I ordered a Rolex. Massive difference.

As I mentioned above, I told Nerissa on the way to the jewelry store, "Let's go increase our prosperity."

And that's what I did, using one of the steps I described above.

Later, when we had lunch, the server was so loving, helpful and happy, that I gave her a huge tip.

That's applying the other way to increase your prosperity.

You can do this, too.

You don't need to buy a Rolex. But you do need to be good to yourself.

And if you aren't ready to do that, then give money away. Start small but get a little uncomfortable. Show the universe that you are trusting.

Either way, you will be joining the flow. After all, money needs to be circulated to help the economy, which helps everyone.

Even you.

Ao Akua,

PS - If you want a little extra help with your prosperity, consider getting some Laxshmi Gold Dust. Laxshmi is the goddess of wealth and good fortune. She's my sidekick. Sprinkle some of her "dust" in your pocket, wallet, or purse, and watch the money grow. You can get some at Expect miracles.

The Thought Projector

It's raining as the ocean waves pound outside my ears. I thought about how the mind generates thoughts. It's a thought projector. It's not as important as the screen the thoughts are projected on. Freedom comes from being the screen.

Now there's a thought for you.

PS - Where am I? Clue: Look behind the thought.

Got magic?

Looks like some people are treating these Blackberry blog posts as clues so they can determine where I'm hiding.

Well, good luck.

But to help you, here are more clues:

I am wearing a t-shirt that says "Got Magic?" A legendary direct marketer bought it for me last night when we saw the most side-splitting funny magic show of my life. It's called Warren and Annabelles. (It was truly off-the-charts terrific.)

This morning I walked seven miles to a tiny book store. As soon as I entered it, a woman asked if I was in the movie The Secret. Even though I was sun burned and sweaty and wearing a hat, I was recognized. Now I know how James Caan or Lindsay Lohan must feel. (I liked it, even though I'm supposed to be hiding on my vacation.)

I saw a man standing by the side of a busy road with a sign beside him. Turns out on this island all the political canditates stand on the road beside their signs asking you to vote for them.

Tonight when I went to buy some booze, the clerk asked for my ID. No one has carded me in 30 years. I almost kissed the guy.

The cigars I'm smoking here are called Hula Girl Cigars. (Don't jump to any quick conclusions.)

There you go. Have fun searching for me.

Ao Akua

PS - Remember, I'm on the move. Wherever I was isn't wear I am. And isn't that true of you, as well?

The Coconut Wireless

We had breakfast at a secret location on this secret island. It was great but what caught my attention was the printed request at our table. It read:

"Please help spread the word about our cafe to your friends and neighbors. Your word of mouth recommendation (the coconut wireless) is the best advertising we have. If you are a visitor staying in a condo, please leave a note in the condo guest book so your fellow visitors will be able to enjoy us also."

They didn't ask me to post about their cafe on my blog, but you can never predict what a coconut will do.

At any rate, ask people to pass the word about you and be sure to pass the word about things you like (maybe this blog?).

The cafe is called Ashley's.

I'll reveal their location later.

I'm typing this on my phone and it's tough to get too wordy this way.

PS - Go see the movie "Little Miss Sunshine". Yes there are movie theatres on the island.

A post from my phone you gotta read

I've never posted from my phone before but that's what I'm doing.

I'm hiding out on an island beach to get some rest. I'm typing this with one finger on my Blackberry phone. If this works, you're reading this right now.

I took five books with me. One of them is so riveting and so inspiring I had to drop my doing nothing to type this to you. I hope you're impressed.

The book is "You've Got to Read This Book" by Jack Canfield and Gay Hendricks. It's 55 people telling the story of the book that changed their life.

Get the book.

Each story is so good you get the lesson and you get the summary of the book that changed them. Some of these stories are dramatic. They are all hypnotic.

Get the book.

I haven't seen this site but try

Get the book.

PS - Heaven does exit. I'm there now.

How I Handled a Failure -- To Make it Your Win

Most people don't talk about their failures.

But last week I failed.

I want to do something about it -- and I want to do it in a way that benefits you.

Here's the story:

When Bill Hibbler and I released our book, Meet and Grow Rich, we did almost everything we normally do to make the book a hit.

I've made virtually all of my books bestsellers, most notably "The Attractor Factor" and "Life's Missing Instruction Manual."

But a few things went wrong with this last campaign.

While the book went to #38 on Amazon's bestseller list, it didn't hit number one.

That was disappointing.

What happened?

What went wrong?

Truth is, a lot of things went wrong.

Bill was on the road the day the campaign hit.

I was finishing a new book and wasn't focused on this one.

Amazon itself even went down for several hours, for the first time I can ever recall.

And most of the heavy-hitter list owners who love the book -- such as Jack Canfield, Jim Edwards, Bill Harris, and John Assaraf -- weren't contacted in time to send out a mailing for the book.

As a result, we sold a lot of books, but we didn't hit number one. We weren't happy about that. Neither was the publisher. And Bill and I want to do something about it.

After brainstorming with our mastermind group, we came up with a way to help ourselves, and our publisher, while helping you. It's the ultimate win-win-win.

You can read about it at -- or just keep reading...

Here's the scoop:

Bill and I want to personally help you create your own mastermind group. We won't charge you a dime for this service, either. But we want your help with something in exchange.

First, please understand that a mastermind is a small group of people who support each other in achieving their goals.

One mastermind helped me drop 80 pounds.

Another mastermind helped my coauthor land a book publishing deal in only 30 days.

One person went from broke musician to Internet superstar because of a mastermind.

Bestselling author Jack Canfield says he's been using masterminds for over 30 years.

The tycoon Andrew Carnegie said they helped him rise from poverty to power.

You should be in one, too.

But how?

Second, please understand that it doesn't matter who you are or where you live. You can be a "nobody" living on Pluto and still create a mastermind group. All you need is the how-to.

And that leads to how we can help you create your own mastermind group.

I -- and my coauthor on my new book -- will train you on how to set one up. We'll also answer your questions. You'll get to attend a private tele-training on masterminds.

And if you get enough books, you'll also get a seat at the table of our mastermind for one session -- all focused on you.

Here's what you have to do:

Go get at least 10 copies of our book, titled, "Meet and Grow Rich," right now.

You'll want one copy for yourself and the others to hand out to your potential group.

Getting 10 copies today will grant you access to a private tele-training where Bill and I will explain, step by step, how to create your own mastermind. We'll also answer your questions.

You can have several other new bonuses, (all different from the last campaign) too, all designed to help you succeed.

And if you get 25, or 50, or 100 copies of the book, you can get even more goodies and specials.

In short --

Help us empty's warehouse and get 12 months of training and over 175 hours of audio and video from some of the world's top Internet marketers -- Free.

Again, this is different than our offer from last week, where you could have a lot of bonuses by getting one copy of "Meet and Grow Rich." With this dramatically enriched offer, (with all new bonuses) you have to get at least 10 books. It's all explained over at --

Please go take a look. If you're serious about achieving your goals, you'll find your path quick and easy if you have a mastermind group behind you.

In fact, we came up with this new win-win-win plan because of a mastermind group.

Obviously, they work.

PS -- I'm going on a two-week vacation starting tomorrow. I'll post as I can, but it may be a low priority. My tan is first.
